This new construction home reflected an extraordinary effort of environmental awareness and energy efficiency. In retrospect, ahead of its time, this home included numerous unique features: an efficient building envelope, radiant flooring, high-efficiency heating and cooling systems, fresh air intakes and much more. The stone used in the façade of this spacious and wonderfully built colonial was recycled from a demolished local building. Floors were milled from oak trees harvested after a big storm. Three floors of high ceilings, easy flowing space and modern conveniences created a wonderful residency convenient to all in Bronxville.
